Under a beautiful Aspen sky on Tuesday, July 26th, Barbara and Michael Gamson hosted more than 60 guests in their home in support of Birthright Israel Foundation. Attendees had the opportunity to learn more about the incredible impact of the Birthright Israel experience and discovered how 10 days can change a life. Alumna, National Board Member, and Co-Founder & CEO of Nexus, Rachel Cohen Gerrol, shared how her trip more than 22 years ago forever changed her life and relationship with Israel and the Jewish people. Additionally, former IDF soldier and Birthright Israel Mifgash alumnus, Shavit Rootman, shared intimate details about his trip and the tremendous impact the program has had on him and other Israeli young adults.
Rachel and Shavit’s stories are just two examples of how this gift has transformed the lives of more than 800,000 young Jewish adults over the past two decades. Event host Michael Gamson, and Birthright Israel Foundation’s President & CEO, Izzy Tapoohi, were also part of the evening’s inspiring program.
