Kenny Haisfield, a 2012 Birthright Israel alum and founder of the lifestyle brand Kenny Flowers, has joined the fight against COVID-19 along with his colleague, Ruthie Schorr. Schorr works in Digital Marketing for Kenny Flowers and met her fiancé on Birthright Israel. The brand swiftly transitioned its Bali factory to manufacture reusable, non-medical masks with the leftover and yet-to-be-used fabric from their spring/summer 2020 collection. It is what the brand is calling the #KFMaskMission. Kenny shares in the video below how the lessons of Tikkun Olam he learned on Birthright Israel have stayed with him, especially in times like this.

For every mask purchased through the Kenny Flowers Mask Mission, 100% of the proceeds will be donated to Direct Relief — nonprofit delivering medical-grade masks — along with exam gloves, isolation gowns, and other protective gear to healthcare organizations across the USA.

This is just one of many acts of generosity Birthright Israel participants are committing to in the fight against COVID-19.
