My name is Jake Weiss and I currently live in Miami, Florida. I’m a 2017 alumnus…
On Wednesday, November 3, 2021, nearly 100 Miami donors joined Sharon and Howard Socol, Miami Leadership Council Co-Chairs, for a virtual event about the importance of Birthright Israel. The event was an evening of insight with Dr. Zohar Raviv to benefit Birthright Israel Foundation’s mission. Dr. Raviv, International VP of Educational Strategy at Birthright Israel, in conversation with Howard Socol, discussed the role the program plays in today’s world where antisemitism and the anti-Israel sentiment is at an all-time high.
Fellow event co-chairs, Colleen and Richard Fain, Cheryl and Jaime Peisach, and Jessica and Scott Srebnick shared why they choose to support Birthright Israel Foundation. Plus, guests heard from recent summer 2021 participants about their experience. We invite you to watch a recording of the event and learn why Birthright Israel is a game-changer for young Jewish adults.
Now, going into its third decade, it is clear that Birthright Israel is a strategic asset for the Jewish people. With your generosity, Birthright Israel Foundation has provided this life-changing opportunity to over 800,000 participants. This incredible number includes close to 10,000 from Miami. Lastly, if you have already supported our efforts, thank you for your generosity! If you have not yet made a gift, we hope you will support our 2021 annual campaign today.
