Birthright Israel’s summer season is officially underway, which means thousands of young Jewish adults are ready to volunteer, bear witness, and connect to their Judaism and ancestral homeland like never before. Thanks to your generosity, 13,500 Jewish young adults will participate in our program offerings (classic 10-day trip, Onward and Excel).

As many of our participants prepare to leave their college campuses after a tumultuous year, we know that through their Birthright Israel experiences, they will find renewed strength, healing, connection, and pride. This generation needs Birthright Israel now, more than ever. Our madrichim, like Jonah in the video below, are committed to providing each participant, like Veronica, with a meaningful Israel experience that will impact them for decades to come.

Birthright Israel Alum & Staffer Jonah Talks Trip Impact

Birthright Israel alum, trip staffer, and Jewish professional Jonah speaks volumes to the impact of his trip experience and what he hopes his college students gain from their 10-day Israel journey.

Meet Birthright Israel & Onward Participant Veronica

Veronica B. is a 19-year-old college student who has never been to Israel before, yet despite never visiting the Jewish homeland, she knows just how important it is to her identity as an American Jew. Birthright Israel Foundation sat down with Veronica and asked her four questions about what she is looking forward to gaining from her 10-day trip and Onward internship this summer and why it is imperative that, as a college student in today’s world, she needs to see Israel for herself.
