The Jewish people have used the Hebrew language in dialect, praying, writing, and in correspondence with each other for as long as time can tell. However, as Jews were scattered all over the world due to conflict in their ancient homeland, new languages were created that integrated Hebrew with other local languages. These integrations created specific dialects such as Yiddish, Ladino, and Judeo-Arabic, for example. The use of Hebrew as an everyday language was revived in the 19th century.
