Position Summary
This fundraising role is an opportunity to join Birthright Israel Foundation (BRIF) to help drive a recently launched five-year $900M campaign. The Regional Director, Texas will be responsible for expanding the regional donor community, deepening existing donor relationships, and significantly growing philanthropic revenue across the state. This is an opportunity to join Birthright Israel Foundation and play a key role in one of the most ambitious philanthropic campaigns in the Jewish world. As Regional Director, you will engage philanthropists, community leaders, and supporters. Success in this role requires strong relationship building skills, disciplined portfolio management, confidence in directly soliciting major gifts, and determination to achieve ambitious goals. This role is ideal for a high-performing relationship builder who is motivated by both purpose and results and wants to make a meaningful impact on the Jewish future.

Key Responsibilities:
Drive Philanthropic Revenue Growth
Build, manage, cultivate, and solicit a portfolio of 100+ investors and prospects capable of giving $10,000+.
Consistently achieve and exceed annual fundraising goals.
Donor Cultivation & Leadership Engagement
Steward and deepen relationships with existing investors while identifying and cultivating new major gift prospects.
Expand the donor pipeline with individuals capable of making five-, six-, and seven-figure commitments.
Lead the execution of philanthropic events to cultivate new prospects and steward existing investors.
Identify and recruit local lay leaders to support Birthright Israel’s mission.
Brand & Mission Ambassador
Serve as a visible ambassador for Birthright Israel both professionally and personally.
Represent Birthright Israel Foundation with professionalism, passion, and credibility.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree preferred
5+ years of successful experience in high-ticket sales or major gifts fundraising
Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding performance goals
Experience engaging senior executives, high-net-worth individuals, or philanthropists
Excellent communication and relationship management skills
Strong initiative, professionalism, and personal accountability
Exceptional organizational and time management skills
Curiosity to leverage emergent technological tools to increase effectiveness
Passion for Jewish engagement and Birthright Israel’s mission
Travel Expectations: This role requires regional travel and occasional travel to BRIF’s NYC headquarters.
