On Thursday, October 20, 2022, alumni and friends of Birthright Israel Foundation gathered at the home of Los Angeles Leadership Cabinet Members Lauren and Josh Diamond. The event, co-chaired by Hannah and Avery Rosin, highlighted the global and local impact of Birthright Israel Foundation over the past 22 years.
Alumna Lauren Diamond shared reflections about her experience on the trip that she took during college. Lauren and Josh have committed to investing in the next generation of Jewish young adults by paying it forward. Their donations to Birthright Israel Foundation ensure that the impactful experience Lauren had will be available for their children and future generations. National Board Member and alumnus Avery Rosin, along with his wife Hannah, echoed their sentiments and shared how the program has had a life-changing impact on Avery personally and professionally over the past ten years.
Guests also heard from Dr. Zohar Raviv, International Vice President of Educational Strategy for Birthright Israel. Dr. Raviv spoke about how the trip’s educational philosophy has evolved over time to meet the needs of the current generation.
