Thank you for joining us at our annual Birthright Israel Foundation Philadelphia Regional Event for an incredible night of solidarity and hope for Israel and the Jewish people. The evening was also an opportunity to honor and recognize Margie Honickman for a decade of leadership to Birthright Israel Foundation. Margie’s remarks inspired all to join our mission and continue working together to build a vibrant Jewish future.

We are sure you share our sentiment in knowing that Birthright Israel ignites a spark of passion and dedication in our young adults, as you heard from our alum speaker, Adela Cojab. It is those sparks that we look forward to igniting once the war in Israel is over.

National Board Chair Phil de Toledo shared his experiences from the recent Birthright Israel solidarity mission to Israel, as he bore witness to the atrocities and trauma they have faced and are continuing to experience. On behalf of the families, Phil shared with us what he saw and heard on the ground.

Hearing words from Elias Saratovsky, President & CEO of Birthright Israel Foundation, reminded us why we are committed to these educational experiences in Israel. When this war ends, and it is safe to do so, it will be critically important to ensure that tens of thousands of young Jewish adults visit Israel. It will be the greatest demonstration of love and support for the people of Israel, and it will further bind our children and grandchildren to the Jewish state.
