On Thursday, October 14, 2021, Birthright Israel Foundation hosted our annual Long Island event featuring Dr. Zohar Raviv, Birthright Israel’s International VP of Educational Strategy and alumna and influencer Elizabeth Savetsky. Elizabeth inspired the group of philanthropists by sharing how Birthright Israel changed the trajectory of her life and led her to meet her husband, Dr. Ira Savetsky.
Barry Swidler was also honored for his leadership and dedication to Birthright Israel and Birthright Israel Foundation. For the past ten years, Barry served as the Chair of the Long Island Leadership Cabinet helping take Long Island’s support for the program to new levels. The evening concluded with remarks from Long Island Cabinet member, Jon Held. We are grateful to all who joined us and hope you enjoy the pictures below.
