On Tuesday, October 25, 2022, Birthright Israel Foundation supporter Viki Freeman hosted over 70 of the organization’s most committed philanthropists from Atlanta. The event was exclusively for those donors giving $10,000 or more to Birthright Israel Foundation. Local Atlanta alumni also joined the donors to meet and thank those who made their experiences a reality.

Atlanta musician and alum Hannah Zale kicked off the evening with Hatikvah, and National Vice Chair, Doug Ross opened the program. Guests then had the pleasure of hearing remarks from Viki herself, who believes Birthright Israel is bridging the gap between young American Jews and Israelis while welcoming them with open arms. Following Viki, local Birthright Israel alum, trip staffer, and artist Steffi Beigh shared how the program gave her a new connection to her Jewish identity. Then, pro-Israel activist, social media influencer, and 2017 alum Jordyn Tilchen spoke about how the trip changed the trajectory of her life. More so, Jordyn shared how she is fighting antisemitism and helping to educate Jews and non-Jews alike through her social media following.

Birthright Israel parent and Atlanta supporter Bryan Lewis closed the program by sharing his personal connection to both the trip and Onward Israel. He had the opportunity to meet his son Daniel while he was on the donor mission this summer.

The evening was a true reminder of Atlanta’s commitment to the State of Israel and the Jewish future.
