On June 5, 2023, Birthright Israel Foundation donors Jennifer & Brian Hermelin hosted an insightful and inspiring event for our Michigan community at their home. Guests enjoyed hearing why Jennifer and Brian support Birthright Israel’s programs. David, their son and an alum of Birthright Israel, then shared how the experience impacted his life. Since his trip, David has been a great advocate for the programs and encourages his peers to participate in both the classic 10-day trip and Onward.
Following David, Dr. Zohar Raviv, International Vice President of Educational Strategy, spoke about the program’s educational values and gave an important update. The evening concluded with special remarks by Eden Cohen, Birthright Israel alum, senior advisor to Former Special Envoy Noa Tishby, and founder of A Wider Frame. Eden shares how her entire life trajectory changed thanks to her experience on the classic 10-day trip.
