Our warmest thanks to all who were able to join us on Thursday, December 15 for our 2022 Birthright Israel Foundation Boca Raton and Delray Beach Major Gift Event.
We’d like to personally thank our hosts, Lynne & Howard Halpern, for opening their beautiful home. We’d also like to thank Andrea & Mike Leven, and Lynne & Howard, for their incredible generosity at the end of the evening. They agreed to literally save the lives, both physically and spiritually, of our young Jewish Ukrainian adults by providing the funds to transport the group from Ukraine through Poland and finally to Israel. The Birthright Israel community is beyond grateful.
During the evening, we had the pleasure of hearing from Charles Bronfman, Birthright Israel Co-Founder, and Dr. Zohar Raviv, Birthright Israel’s VP of Educational Strategy. Birthright Israel alums Arel Moodie and Billy Steinberg also shared their powerful Birthright Israel journeys with us. Their stories and experiences would not have been possible without the generous support from the Birthright Israel community.
Birthright Israel Foundation believes that all eligible young adults should be able to visit Israel to experience their birthright. With your help, we’ve given the gift of Birthright Israel to more than 2,000 young Jewish adults with disabilities since 2001.
